This Lamp: The Modern Language Bible

Rick Mansfield has posted his comments on The Modern Language Bible: New Berkeley Edition on This Lamp. The MLB was an early (~1950) effort to use modern language as a translation principle and move away from the archaic KJV. It would be interesting to compare the MLB to the New English Bible, which was first published in 1961 (NT only) as a British alternative to the KJV.
