It would be interesting to compare our blog &quot;reading levels&quot; with the reading level of the various Bible translations we prefer. That is, are we naturally wired to read/write in a more simple or more sophisticated/complex manner. For example, I&#039;ve gone back to a NASB+REB combo, both translations with fairly high reading levels (12+). Hmmm... that might be worth a new post/survey.</description>

I&#039;ve been noticing that most of us with high ratings are very cautious about it, taking it with a grain of salt at least; perhaps realizing that we should consider simplifying our writing style. (?)

My blog rates at Post Grad; the other blog I write for my church rates at a High School level.

It&#039;s fun. I don&#039;t think anybody is taking it to seriously. ;-)</description>
