Christmas shopping for Bibliobloggers

biblebooktie.jpgWhat better way to remember your favorite Biblioblogger this Christmas than to get them a 100% silk tie with the titles of the books of the Bible against a blue patterned background? Perhaps accompanied by their own copy of The Books of the Bible?

Or perhaps a tie with the names of Jesus? or for the more Old Testament inclined folks, one with the names of God? Here’s one especially made for Peter Kirk. Fans of Isaiah 40 can soar with eagles while preterists can bask in the realized glory of New Jerusalem beneath their chins.

Why memorize scripture anymore when you can read it right off your tie? Ephesians 2:8. Never forget all of the Beatitudes or the Ten Commandments again. Psalm 138:8. Get 3 for 1 with this tie: Ephesians 6:10, Psalm 118:24, and Matthew 5:9 (also available in green!) And of course, John 3:16.

For even more fashionable options and sartorial splendor, go here… after all, it is that time of the year again, right?

  1. Peter Kirk says:

Thanks, ElShaddai. If someone wants to buy me the tie you recommend, I will accept the gift. But I make no promises to wear it! For I very rarely wear a tie at all, usually only to weddings and funerals. Well, I did wear one to an ordination service recently, as that was both my friend’s (bigamous) wedding to the church and in many ways his funeral!
