Hi. I’m he of the mouthful of a description — might have to change that! I’m just getting caught up after some time away from the computer, and found your link in my lists.

I’ve been reading “He is Sufficient” for quite a while, not always as regularly as I’d like though, hence the addition to my blogroll. I must admit though, that I’ve tended to do just what you’ve been talking about in these comments, browse from my blogroll (I am relatively new to blogging and blogs). It didn’t occur to me that it might give a false impression of numbers, but now I’ve read it, I can see it makes absolute sense. So I’ve learnt something new today, and will make some changes to my habits to reflect this. Thanks guys.

@Nathan: That’s a good point… fortunately I tend to use a blog reader to “hide” my visits! I’ve gone back to Google Reader after using Bloglines Beta for the past many months – I like ‘em both, Google just integrates with my iGoogle home page better. Duh.

@Peter: I don’t actually know *when* Mike updated his blogroll, just that I got a hit from it in the last few days. I agree that I’d like to see more from him.

I have similar figures for #1 and #3 from TC and Kevin’s blogs. My assumption is that they both browse blogs via their own blogroll and not from a feed reader. Once I read your stats it seemed to confirm this. Although I could be completely wrong and they have a ton of traffic coming our way.
