The NEWEST Pretrib Calendar

Hal (serial polygamist) Lindsey and other pretrib-rapture-trafficking and Mayan-Calendar-hugging hucksters deserve the following message: "2012 may be YOUR latest date. It isn't MAYAN!" Actually, if it weren't for the 179-year-old, fringe-British-invented, American-merchandised pretribulation rapture bunco scheme, Hal might still be piloting a tugboat on the Mississippi, roly-poly Thomas Ice (Tim LaHaye's No. 1 strong-arm enforcer) might still be in his tiny folding-chair church which shares its firewall with a Texas saloon, Jack Van Impe might still be a jazz band musician, Tim LaHaye might still be titillating California matrons with his "Christian" sex manual, Grant Jeffrey might still be taking care of figures up in Canada, Chuck Missler might still be in mysterious hush-hush stuff that rocket scientists don't dare talk about, John Hagee might be making - and eating - world-record pizzas, and Jimmy ("Bye You" Rapture) Swaggart might still be flying on a Ferriday flatbed! To read more details about the eschatological British import that leading British scholarship never adopted - the import that's created some American multi-millionaires - Google "Pretrib Rapture Diehards" (note LaHaye's hypocrisy under "1992"), "Hal Lindsey's Many Divorces," "Thomas Ice (Bloopers)" and "Thomas Ice (Hired Gun)," "LaHaye's Temperament," "Wily Jeffrey," "Chuck Missler - Copyist," "Open Letter to Todd Strandberg" and "The Rapture Index (Mad Theology)," "X-Raying Margaret," "Humbug Huebner," "Thieves' Marketing," "Appendix F: Thou Shalt Not Steal," "The Unoriginal John Darby," "Pretrib Hypocrisy," "The Real Manuel Lacunza," "Roots of (Warlike) Christian Zionism," "America's Pretrib Rapture Traffickers," "Pretrib Rapture - Hidden Facts," "Dolcino? Duh!" and "Scholars Weigh My Research." Most of the above is written by journalist/historian Dave MacPherson who has focused on long-hidden pretrib rapture history for 35+ years. No one else has focused on it for 35 months or even 35 weeks. MacPherson has been a frequent radio talk show guest and he states that all of his royalties have always gone to a nonprofit group and not to any individual. His No. 1 book on all this is "The Rapture Plot" (see Armageddon Books online, etc.). The amazing thing is how long it has taken the mainstream media to finally notice and expose this unbelievably groundless yet extremely lucrative theological hoax!

I don't think so ! the separation of the wheat and the tares happens when you a believer refuse the mark. Note the bundeling of the tares happens first. Oh and I believe Jesus's words before anyone.

If you look at what is going on in the world today, something 'major' happened on each of the recent 'feast days', something related to world politics, religion or other issues that point to some major things happening.

I agree with James here, something 'big' should happen in about 3.5 years....lining up with the first of the 'Spring feasts' in 2012, and culminating with the 'blood moons' in 2014-15.

If this is NOT the beginning of the Tribulation, and the up-coming 'blood moons' are not THE ones to mark the fulfillment of prophesy, then we have 300 more years before they come around again.

Oh, keep in mind that one of the 'big things' that did happen that I'm not hearing ANYONE talk about is the fact that on Oct 14th for the first time in 2000 a Jewish feast day was celebrated ON Temple Mount. That is BIG!

On a rather 'shudder worthy' note, another of the things that happened on one of the feast days was the fact that Nation of Islam leader Louis F. 'proclaimed' that Obama was 'The Messiah'. Does that mean anything? *shrug* I guess we'll find out in about 3.5 years...or 7...or 300.

Oh and another thing. He is counting backwards 7 years I think it should only be 3 and a half years. So the great tribulation could start 2012 if my math is right.

I like this however, the teaching of a rapture is I believe a profoundly wrong teaching. check it.

God is totally Just (foundational belief)he deals Justly. He deals with all of us in the same way. So if there is a rapture then God must have already judged the earth and is separating the church to him self, so therefore there is no need then for the tribulation.(he doesn't deal with Christians differently, we all must face the judgment, its just that when Christians are judged they are covered by the blood. Jesus has paid the price that is required)

Nope. The tribulation is to separate the believers from the non believers. It will be the process by which he will separate the wheat from the chaff.

I will have to agree with Gene on this one, Pastor Steve has NEVER said that the rapture will occur on a specific date, nor has he conclusivly stated that these eclipses are biblically related to the rapture. He was simply pointing out a very interesting set of circumstances regarding the timing of the ecplipses. We know from history that Jesus prophetically fulfilled the Spring Feasts on their proper day, in order, all in the same week. There is no reason to assume the Fall Feasts won't be fulfilled in the same way by His second coming. So, with that in mind, you can technically backdate from the Fall Feasts with the understanding that there are calendar issues to deal with, then you will come up with an APPROXIMATE starting time for the tribulation around the fall feasts 7 years earlier. This is simple math and not date setting. Besides, the "no man knows the day or hour" scripture seems to be about the rapture, and not the tribulation spcifically. There are several calendar problems which prevent us from knowing exact dates on anything until each year actually starts.
Steve is just doing the one thing that so many churches nowdays are afraid to do...address the end times.
@Iyov...dude, if you knew Steve you would never make a comment like that...if you visit a Christian website and watch videos of pastors teaching, I would assume (maybe I am wrong) that you are a Christian...keep that in mind when you want to call a good pastor a potential antichirst. Save stuff like that for obvious fakes like Benny Hinn and co.

Pastor Steve Hadley has nothing to gain about his comments on the rapture, in fact the only he will get until the rapture comes is ridicule but he is trying to make sure all of us are ready when that time comes. Many Pastors will not even teach on the subject because it is too controversial. Personall I thank God we have people who will stand up and preach the word and try to prepare their flock.

To Daniel Doleys and Iyvov, I was surprised at your comments. Steve has said over and over again, no one knows the day or the time. He has his own thoughts but has said over and over again based on Bible Prophesy and what he feels in his heart that we are definately in the "season" if you compare what is going on around the world and the headlong rush a one world order, it sure looks like time is short. How short we don't know and he has said that over and over again. If you will review his message last Sunday 09/21/08 he spends the first half of his message explaining what their future plans and goals are until the rapture comes when ever it is. Then second half of the message he give us his opinion of what is happening and how it relates to Bible Prophesy but he still says he is just advising us of the season again. As for being the Antichrist, I can't even respond to that one.
