Stuart – thanks for the clarification! The “squiggle” comment is a bit of an inside joke… I had threatened to categorize my blogroll at one point, putting all blogs that used Hebrew or Greek as their main title in special category called “Squiggles in the Sand” or some such name.

It’s always a dangerous thing when trombone players know too much about actual music…

Thanks for recommending my blog series on “a truncated gospel.” AS a blogger newbie, it’s nice to know someone has taken notice.

Also, the “squiggle” of the blog title means “according to the gospel.” I guess I should clear that up for any blog readers who come my way.

On another note, I see that you and I have something in common besides the faith . . . I have a degree in music as well, and I (used to) play the trombone.
