Forgive me if you’ve heard this song before, but I've decided to stop blogging at He is Sufficient. I truly appreciate all of the wit, wisdom and words of faith that you have shared with me over the past few years. I wish you well in all of your endeavors, whatever they may be and wherever they may lead you. “God is sufficient for the needs of His people”. Amen!

@Robert, Nathan, John and David: Thank you for the support! I really do appreciate it. I don’t want to say that I’m quitting, but I need to take a break and sort out my goals and motivations for continuing. I fear I’ve been a slave to my selfish interests and that’s not good.
Another part of me feels like I’ve said all I can say on my current path of focus. I’ve become painfully aware of everything I don’t know and it’s irresponsible of me to write from a position of ignorance (cf. 1 Timothy 1:5-7). I don’t want to be a parrot, mindlessly squawking what I hear or read elsewhere, or a monkey, beating my clanging cymbals to the tune of the organ grinder…
ElShaddai, I understand — but I personally never thought of your postings written out of ignorance, I learn a lot at your site. I’ll leave it at that and keep you in my prayers.

Hey ElShaddai, I thought maybe you were just going through a phase, and I’m sure you are. I’ve been through those phases and kept blogging though at a slower pace but we all go through these phases. I know you’ll be back. You’re a really great blogger and you’ll be back like gang busters.
