I think you'd find many people in that denomination with whom you'd agree on many things. You'd find some people who love and serve and know the Lord. You'd also find those who are religious but without any strong convictions about Jesus. (That's a polite way of saying that they are still walking in the darkness, still in their sins, walking according to the course of the ruler of this world.) Much would depend on the local pastor and the local lay leadership of the congregation. I grew up in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
