Redemption, not recreation

HT: Gary Zimmerli

And maybe some day when I get to heaven, the Lord will give me a tour of the whole world before He burns it up and moves us all into His new world.

*sigh* … redemption, not re-creation. We’ll have eternity to explore this world as it was intended to be experienced.

If I remember correctly, one of your favorite translations is the REB. I am looking for an on-line version of that translation. I have a hard copy and am enjoying it very much. But I would like to introduce my students to it by giving them a copy of a chapter or two in an upcoming study. However, I really do not have the time to type it all out for them. I need an on-line source to copy/paste, if there is one available.

Do you know of such? I realize this is not about your blog post — forgive please. I read but I seldom comment — but your thoughts and sharings are very good. Bless you.

Unfortunately the only electronic version of the REB that I am aware of is for the Accordance software package on the Mac. As far as I know, there are no online or Windows versions of the REB available.

Thank you. I do have a beginning Accordance package, but was gifted with a beginning level “Scholars’ Edition” of Logos Libronix. It has so much more in it than I ever dreamed of owning, so I have led the Accordance slip into the background. I may investigate.
        Again, thank you.
